This song hit us like a lightning bold in the summer of 2015. Ace and I were in the studio and just like that, 1 hour later we were staring at almost every track in this song. Everything was a first take keeper. The song absolutely poured out and when we were done with it, we didn't quite know what to do next. We added drums later that week, and Abigail came and did a final vocal harmony on this. There is so much intensity behind my own vocal on this track that in some special way, I don't even hear it as my own voice. Once again performed and captured at the legendary County Q Studio in Berry Hill TN.
